Ditching Monday job derives such tremendous benefit to myself. Did nothing else except watched episode 10. Ok, I have watched episode 10 1st thing Monday morning. I got the feeling it will get even better! So now I wonder how the coming episodes of BABEL will continue to capture our attention and our imagination. So well executed I just have to rewatch this scene many times over.
To me, it was poetry /dance in motion coupled with full explosion of emotions all rolled into one. The second, was that utterly awesome final scene at the airport where the arrest of HJW took place. The contrasting reactions were magnificent to watch. Even as his team scurried around hurriedly getting ready for the next course of action on the latest murder suspect, CWH stood rooted, lost in his distress. The first, CWH’s shell shocked face as he stood with his eyes transfixed unbelievingly at the laptop images of TMH and HJW at the scene of crime. Also the best to-date from my personal viewpoint, with two favourite scenes both centred around Cha Woohyuk, showcasing the wonderment of Park Sihoo’s acting ability and the excellent directing skill of PD Yoon Sungsik. Stefania Lupu BABEL is getting better and better with each episode and I am in total agreement with you that Episode 10 is the saddest. My biggest support goes to none other than our most talented man Park Sihoo-ssi Big round of applause to Babel, crew and cast, director and scriptwriter. There is possibility that TMH poked the knife into himself by accident while the two were fighting it out, or as I mentioned before, it could be there and then, enter TMH’s PA and PA helped but accidentally killed TMH. The fact remained to be proven is whether there is evidence that HJW managed to pierce that knife into TMH’s heart and caused his death, this part Babel still have room to manouvre the story development, so let’s not be conclusive yet. The development to this discovery of this footage is not a surprise to me, as I said, of all the revelations Babel has shown us, HJW is the highest suspect, so now Babel is being consistent with the story line as well as what Babel has revealed so far. So yes, it’s very discriminating evidence, but it cannot be 100% conclusive evidence. Now, is that footage of HJW who was holding the pen knife pointing towards THM conclusive evidence? Nuh, it is not the image of the knife poked into TMH’s heart while the knife was still in HJW’s hands. This scene is most superbly done when CWH froze in tears while his office others all vying for quick actions scrambling about to go arrest HJW, no one needs to wait for the commander of the team to give the go ahead, to each who has seen that footage, it’s enough to go arrest HJW. The ending of episode 10, the arrest of HJW, wow, the scenes where CWH watched with “disbelief” (? I doubt it was disbelief, he probably knew that is a high possibility, just that seeing the footage with his eyes he can no longer continue to be in denial of his suspicion and delay further taking action on HJW). These 2 lines from CWH gave me the utmost satisfaction of watching Babel.
Nothing else is that important at that monent if you have a compassionate heart, TYR. And I agree with CWH, if I were in his shoes, if CWH truly loves HJW, that’s the type of answers I would say without hesitation to the face of TYR. If I say I had felt very satisfied with cat fights trading with succinct and effective words and those impactful slaps between the 2 women over the love of our prosecutor CWH, I must say episode 10 I am even more satisfied with both the beginning of the episode how CWH answered TYR that it doesn’t matter whose baby it doesn’t matter if HJW has used him, “HJW is the one I am deeply in love” Bravo Bravo Bravo, our hero CWH! TYR no matter how much respect CWH has for this sunbae all these while, her standing in him is diminishing as he said, at that very moment, 1st and foremost, TYR you should be asking how is HJW doing.
